CCRAS POST DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The CCRAS Post Doctoral Fellowship is a full-time research programme with a tenure of two years, extendable by one additional year based on outstanding performance and a recommendation from both the Director General, CCRAS and the Mentor at the host institution/laboratory.

  • Candidates are advised to regularly visit the CCRAS PDF portal (https://pdf.ccras.org.in) for updates and instructions related to the PDF program.
  • Any Ph.D./PG degree holder of Ayurveda may apply within three years of award of Ph.D./PG degree till the last date of application in the year of application, but if the Ph.D./PG is ongoing, he/she may not apply for PDF. Any Ayurveda candidate who has received his/her provisional Ph.D./PG degree till the last date of application in the year of application can also apply for PDF.
  • Any Ph.D. degree holder of Allied sciences disciplines may apply within three years of award of Ph.D. degree till the last date of application in the year of application, but if the Ph.D. is ongoing, he/she may not apply for PDF. Any Allied sciences candidate who has received his/her provisional Ph.D. degree till the last date of application in the year of application can also apply for PDF.
  • Applicants must have research publications in high impact factor SCI journals to be eligible.
  • The fellows are not eligible to receive any other fellowship from any Government or Non-Governmental source during the tenure of the fellowship.
  • Online registration and submission of applications for the June 2025 PDF Batch will commence on 1st June 2025.
  • The last date for registration and submission of complete application (including project proposal and all required documents) is 30th June 2025.
  • Eligible candidates can apply on the CCRAS PDF Portal: https://pdf.ccras.org.in/
  • Applications must be submitted only via the official CCRAS PDF Portal: https://pdf.ccras.org.in. Physical submissions or email submissions will not be accepted.
  • All applicants must upload the required documents in readable PDF format only. The mandatory documents include: (i) the Project Synopsis, which must strictly follow the Research Proposal Format provided in Annexure 1 of the PDF Scheme and be aligned with the prescribed theme for the June 2025 Batch; (ii) the Application Form, which must be typed, duly filled, and signed and sealed by both the Mentor and the Head of the Institute (handwritten forms will not be accepted); (iii) UG and PG Degree Certificates or Provisional Certificates; (iv) Ph.D. Degree Certificate (mandatory for candidates from Allied Sciences); (v) Caste Certificate (if applicable), issued by a competent authority; (vi) Disability Certificate (if applicable), issued by a competent authority; and (vii) a valid Government-issued Photo Identification, such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or any other government-recognized ID.
  • CCRAS will not be held responsible for non-submission of proposals due to technical or personal reasons. No extension of the application deadline will be considered.
  • After completion of the project under PDF, CCRAS and Ministry of AYUSH shall not be responsible to provide/ensure any kind of paid or honorary, part- or full-time employment to the candidate in the Council or Ministry.
  • All official correspondence will be sent via email and/or to the candidate’s institution/university address.
  • All disputes pertaining to the programme shall fall within the jurisdiction of Delhi only.
  • CCRAS reserves the right to modify these instructions/guidelines at any time without prior notice.
